Christian Bale‘s Caped Crusader is coming back to the big screen for a limited time only to celebrate Batman’s 80th Anniversary.
Batman made his first ever appearance all the way back in March 1939 (in Detective Comics issue #27), which means he has been fighting bad guys, solving crimes and brooding over his parents for a staggering 80 years.
As part of the Birthday celebrations, Warner Bros and DC have announced their plans, confirming that they are bringing Christopher Nolan‘s critically-acclaimed and genre-defining The Dark Knight Trilogy to the biggest of big screens: the IMAX.
Over four days (April 19-22), the BFI in London will show Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises back-to-back-to-back, alongside a pre-recorded Q&A with the director.
Each marathon will begin at 2.30pm and last for a whopping 9-and-a-half hours!
