Actress Marilyn Eastman has passed away aged 87. She was known for playing Helen Cooper in George A Romero’s zombie classic, Night Of The Living Dead. 
Aside from Night of The Living Dead she had appearances in Perry Mason, House Guest & Santa Claws.
In addition to starring in Night of the Living Dead, Eastman was also an integral figure behind the scenes, working in the makeup, prop, and sound departments, as well as helping to edit the film’s screenplay. Eastman also appears in the film as a zombie. She was also founding member of the film’s production company, Image Ten Productions.
