Netflix has released a visually gripping Credit sequence from Addams Family series Wednesday. The series ewill air exclusively on Netflix on November 23rd 2022, with all episodes to be released simultaneously. Check out the clip below:
The series will be a coming-of-age supernatural mystery comedy focusing on Wednesday Addams and her years as a high school student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her psychic powers, stop a monstrous killing spree of the town citizens, and solve the supernatural mystery that affected her family 25 years ago—all while navigating her new relationships.
The credit sequence released today features some of the series haunting score from Danny Elfman.
Actress Jenny Ortega has been cast in the lead role of Wednesday Addams with Catherine Zeta Jones & Luis Guzman signing on to play Morticia & Gomez Addams alongside the further cast announced including Gwendoline Christie and Christina Ricci.
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville”) are writing and showrunning. Tim Burton is directing.
