Blumhouse’s Spawn movie has added writers Scott Silver (Joker), Malcolm Spellman (Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and Matt Mixon. The film has been in development at Blumhouse since 2017. Jamie Foxx remains attached to star as the antihero, who was first introduced in the comics in 1992, with Spawn creator Todd McFarlane among the film’s producers.

Anthony Mackie to play ‘Captain America’ in MCU movie
Deadline is reporting that Anthony Mackie has closed a deal to star in Captain America 4, after taking up the mantle of Captain America in Disney+ limited series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, sources said.
