New Release Dates Announced for Mulan, Black Widow And More MCU Installments

In the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Disney has announced new release dates for Black Widow, Mulan and more.


Black Widow, the next installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has taken The Eternals former release date November 6th 2020.

As a result, Eternals will take February 12th 2021, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings former spot, and so on and so forth up through Thor: Love and Thunder‘s new release date of February 18th 2022.

Black Panther 2 remains on schedule May 8th 2022, while Captain Marvel 2 is now set for July 8th 2022.


Away from the MCU, Mulan will open on July 24th 2020, bumping Jungle Cruise all the way back to July 30th 2021.

Soul, Disney’s latest Pixar venture, is still expected to kick off the summer movie season on June 19th 2020.


Other major titles that have been taken off the schedule in recent weeks include Universal’s Fast & Furious entry Fast 9, Candyman and  Minions: The Rise of Gru, MGM’s James Bond follow-up No Time to DieDC‘s Wonder Woman 1984Sony‘s Ghostbusters and Morbius and Paramount’s A Quiet Place sequel.
