Variety has confirmed that Timothy Olyphant (Santa Clarita Diet) will be joining the cast of Disney+ Live Action Star Wars series The Mandalorian Season 2 in a currently unknown role.

He joins previously confirmed new Season 2 cast members Temuera Morrison, Katee Sachoff, Rosario Dawson, and Michael Biehn.

The Mandalorian season 2 completed principal photography in March and the post-production is being done remotely, so the new episodes will still hit Disney+ in October 2020.
