Disney/LucasFilm have confirmed today that Harrison Ford will be returning for the as-yet untitled Indiana Jones 5 and will be joined by new cast member Phoebe Waller-Bridge
In addition, legendary Oscar-winning composer John Williams has signed on to score the film. Williams has scored every previous Indiana Jones title going back to 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark.
“I’m thrilled to be starting a new adventure, collaborating with a dream team of all-time great filmmakers,”
Director James Mangold said in a statement.
“Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank, and John are all artistic heroes of mine. When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”
The film is expected to film this year with a release date of July 29th 2022.
