Actor Noel Clarke issues apology following misconduct allegations

In a new statement Actor Noel Clarke has said he’s “deeply sorry” for some of his actions and will seek professional help, but has again “vehemently” denied sexual misconduct. Following BAFTA’s suspension the membership of actor Noel Clarke along with his recent Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award following numerous sexual harassment and bullying allegations made in a Guardian report published Thursday.

He said:

“I vehemently deny any sexual misconduct or criminal wrongdoing”

“Recent reports however have made it clear to me that some of my actions have affected people in ways I did not intend or realise.”

His statement added:

“To those individuals, I am deeply sorry. I will be seeking professional help to educate myself and change for the better.”

Following the allegations has seen Sky announced they will no longer work with Clarke on his TV show ‘Bulletproof’ which also aired on The CW network in the US. Additionally ITV has announced it will not air tonights final episode of Viewpoint; a week-long drama series that already aired episodes 1-4.
