Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Anthony Stewart Head is auctioning off one of his signed personal scripts for a UK Cancer charity.
CABARET VS CANCER raises money through world-class cabaret and burlesque, supported by a team of ambassadors across the UK.
Quite simply, our aim is to support people and families affected by cancer.
Since 2016 we have been working with child bereavement teams in local hospices, to ensure they have the tools and support they need to help children who are losing or have lost a close relative.
Additionally, CABARET VS CANCER works with various organisations to support those currently living with cancer; from the manufacture of modern breast forms for post-mastectomy women in Cornwall, to patient transport providers in the North of England.
As well as our cabaret shows, we host several INCREDIBLE charity auctions throughout the year, from rare Star Wars collectibles to Twin Peaks autographs. Being officially licensed through the David Bowie estate means we’re also able to raise funds with our official David Bowie merchandise.
YOU can help us continue our incredible work, enable us to plan ahead and to help make the lives of those affected by cancer just a little better.
The script that is up for grabs is “Buffy vs. Dracula” the season 5 premiere of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Buffy faces the infamous Count Dracula, who has come to Sunnydale to make her one of his brides. In the process, he turns Xander into a Renfield of sorts, and Giles becomes enthralled with the three sisters, much like Jonathan Harker in the novel. However, after a brief spell during which Buffy is mesmerized by the Count, she regains her usual composure and defeats him.
You can bid on Anthony’s signed script and much more here.
