SYFY has announced this afternoon that Chucky will return to TV screens in time for the Halloween season, with Season 2 of Don Mancini‘s hit series officially set to premiere on October 5, 2022!
Glen/Glenda will return in Chucky Season 2, with Lachlan Watson taking on the roles.
Glen/Glenda is the genderfluid child of Chucky and Tiffany, referenced in the first season of Chucky but not actually shown on screen since the film Seed of Chucky.
Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly will both be back for Season 2, with returning cast also including Zackary Arthur as Jake Wheeler, Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Evans, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Cross, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle and Barbara Alyn Woods as Mayor Michelle Cross.
Devon Sawa will be playing a new character in the second season, with Lara Jean Chorostecki signing on in an undisclosed role. Meg Tilly, Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano, Tony Nappo and Sutton Stracke also star.
Chucky is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by creator Don Mancini, David Kirschner, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund and Harley Peyton.
