The first trailer has been released for ‘Confess, Fletch’ starring Jon Hamm (Mad Men) as Fletch.

Hamm reunites with ‘Mad Men’s John Slattery for the comedy that follows Chevy Chase’s 1980s takes on the character. See the trailer below:

Confess, Fletch revives the titular character of Fletch that was created by author Gregory Mcdonald in a series of novels and became part of 1980s pop culture with the Chevy Chase-starring Fletch (1985) and its subsequent sequel four years later.

Confess, Fletch is directed Greg Mottola (Superbad) and based on the Mcdonald book of the same name. The movie’s cast also includes Roy Wood Jr., Annie Mumolo, Ayden Mayeri, Lorenza Izzo, Kyle MacLachlan and Marcia Gay Harden.

The will be released by Miramax theatrically, digitally and on-demand Sept. 16th
