Following The Power of The Doctor which saw Jodie Whittaker’s final episode as The Doctor – Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor regenerated into a familiar face and it has now been officially confirmed that David Tennant will be the Fourteenth Doctor.

Talking about the future, Russell T Davies, Showrunner said:
“If you thought the appearance of David Tennant was a shock, we’ve got plenty more surprises on the way! The path to Ncuti’s Fifteenth Doctor is laden with mystery, horror, robots, puppets, danger and fun! And how is it connected to the return of the wonderful Donna Noble? How, what, why? We’re giving you a year to speculate, and then all hell lets loose!”
Catherine Tate, Yasmin Finney and Bernard Cribbins have been announced to be featuring in scenes that are due to air in 2023 to coincide with the show’s 60th anniversary celebrations alongside Emmy and Tony-winning actor and comedian Neil Patrick Harris.
The three special episodes will transmit in November 2023 as Doctor Who celebrates its 60th anniversary.
The special is released on DVD/BluRay on 7th November in UK and December 13th in US.
