Trailer released for ‘Lego Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy’

StarWars.com has just announced LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, a “four-piece” animated special coming to Disney+ on  . In LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, the entire Star Wars galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together. Actor Bernard Hill, best known for roles in Titanic and Lord of the Rings, has died aged 79.

‘Matrix 5’ in the works

Warner Bros have announced today that a fifth “Matrix” movie is in development; and it will mark the first installment without Lana or Lily Wachowski as directors.

Instead, “The Martian” screenwriter Drew Goddard will handle filmmaking duties. He will also write the script and produce with his partner at Goddard Textiles, Sarah Esberg.

James Bond and Doctor Who actress dies aged 80.

British film and television actress Pamela Salem has died at the age of  80.

Her long career in stage, television, and film included multiple roles in touring plays by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Pinter and Ayckbourn, as well as starring alongside Sean Connery in two films, The First Great Train Robbery and Never Say Never Again.

A move to Los Angeles in the 1990s, then Miami, led to a number of guest appearances in popular US drama series, such as ER and The West Wing, and a new career as a co-writer and producer of radio and theatre productions with her husband Michael O’Hagan.

Rocky star Carl Weathers dies aged 76

American actor, director and former professional football player Carl Weathers has died aged 76.

He is known for his roles as boxer Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky films (1976–1985), Colonel Al Dillon in Predator (1987), and Combat Carl in the Toy Story franchise. He also portrayed Det. Beaudreaux in the television series Street Justice (1991–1993) and a fictionalized version of himself in the comedy series Arrested Development (2004, 2013), and voiced Omnitraxus Prime in Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2017–2019).

He has a recurring role as Greef Karga in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian (2019–present), for which he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
