Madelaine Petsch, Froy Gutierrez and Gabriel Basso have been tapped to star in a Lionsgate remake of the 2008 horror The Strangers, which has entered production in Slovakia.
Renny Harlin has officially be announced to be directing the film, which will be the first in a trilogy. News first broke of the upcoming remakes last month with Harlin being rumoured to be attached shortly after.
Timo Vuorensola’s highly anticipated Jeepers Creepers: Reborn will appear in the UK cinemas for One Night Only at Showcase Cinemas on 24th September. The film will also be getting a Blu-Ray and DVD release in the UK from 101 Films.

Lionsgate is set to release Sam Raimi‘s The Evil Dead and Evil Dead II in a stunning 4K Ultra HD double feature set.
Both films have previously been released in 4K individually.
