Doctor Who
Audio Review: The Shape Of Things to Come
Review by Doctor Squee (Host of Gallifrey Stands Podcast)
I am as ever impressed by Big Finish’s ability to draw you into a new line. So with the first 2 audio’s from the H G Wells adaptations they smartly with two of his better known works; The Invisible Man and The First Men in the Moon; both starring already well loved actors in Sir John Hurt and Nigel Planner.
With this third story they have gone for a title that is probably better known than the book. With casting, they have by no means scrimped on the talent with Nicola Walker and Sam Troughton; just maybe not with one name that is universally as well known; just two amazing actors, which I would be surprised if they don’t find their place in the pantheons of the great in time.

Audio Review: The Omega Factor Series 2
Review by Ian McArdell
In 2015, Big Finish revived the late 1970s BBC science-meets-supernatural thriller series The Omega Factor to quite some acclaim. Indeed, one episode was nominated for a BBC Audio Drama Award.

Fresh to this continuation of the show is John Dorney as Adam Dean, son of the original lead character Tom Dean (an investigative journalist who was played by the late James Hazeldine). Review: Doctor Who – Alien Heart / Dalek Soul
Review by Doctor Squee (Host of Gallifrey Stands Podcast)
I love a little twist on the formatting that Big Finish do and again they have done it with these 2 interlinking stories in one release. Each getting an hour. So you get the pace of a modern 1 hour drama, cliffhangers in the middle and 2 stories that are different but one builds on the other. And in this way you technically get a 4 parter of sorts too

Review: Torchwood – Dollhouse
Review by Doctor Squee (Host of Gallifrey Stands Podcast)
If a year or two back when Big Finish started the Torchwood range you would have said they were going to do one with a new Torchwood crew, not involving any of our favourites I might have been dubious; but Big Finish’s Torchwood has been so good and diverse in it’s output that series producer James Goss has earned the right to do something completely new with it and earn’t my trust.
