Written and directed by Bryn Hammond, the documentary will explore the Tony Todd-starring movie franchise that was born out of Clive Barker‘s original story, “The Forbidden.”

‘Silent Night, Deadly Night’ getting reboot.
Orwo Studios and Black Hanger Studios (Jeepers Creepers: Reborn) have acquired remake rights to controversial 1984 slasher film Silent Night, Deadly Night, which Orwo is beginning sales on at the virtual EFM. The original film’s producers Scott Schneid and Dennis Whitehead of Wonderwheel Entertainment are also aboard with a planned delivery date in 2022.

‘Aliens: Fire Team’ game coming summer 2021
A new game set in the world of the Aliens movie franchise is coming this summer. ‘Aliens: Fireteam’ is a co-operative third-person survival shooter in which three-player teams must fight swarms of the interstellar creatures to complete the mission and get out alive. The game is from Cold Iron Studios, the San Jose-based game studio owned by Disney’s 20th Century Games unit.
Indira Varma to join Obi-Wan Kenobi series
Game Of Thrones star Indira Varma is set to join Disney Plus’s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
Star Wars prequel stars Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are already aboard for the series, which McGregor recently teased was getting underway in the spring.
‘Terminator’ anime series coming to Netflix
A ‘Terminator’ anime series has been ordered at Netflix, Variety has learned. Netflix has partnered with Skydance on the series, with Skydance having produced the last two “Terminator” films. The series is produced in partnership with Production I.G , who Netflix has had a production line deal with since 2018. Production I.G’s past anime credits include ‘Ghost in the Shell‘ ‘B: The Beginning’ and ‘Eden of the East’.

Variety is reporting that novelist Ta-Nehisi Coates has been hired to a feature reboot of Superman for Warner Bros that will produced by J.J. Abrams.
Upcoming Urban Legend trilogy Blu-Ray special features announced
It was announced earlier this year that the 1998 slasher film Urban Legend and the two sequels that followed are getting a new limited edition Blu-Ray release from 88 Films – In the UK for the first time, completely uncut.

Disney+ sets air date for ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ and ‘Loki’
Disney+ has announced that Star Wars: The Bad Batch will premiere on May 4th (AKA Star Wars Day). Meanwhile the series premiere of Marvel Studios’ Loki won’t be far behind as it hits Disney+ on June 11th 2021
Jeepers Creepers 4 officially announced
The fourth installment of the Jeepers Creepers franchise has officially be announced.
Titled Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, has sold worldwide distribution rights to Screen Media who previously released Jeepers Creepers 3.
The studio plans to release the film in North America in the fall of 2021.
