40 Years Ago visionary director Sam Raimi brought the The Evil Dead to life on our screens with his own unique visual style and mix of comedy and horror and his indie low-budget debut feature would go on to spawn two hugely successful sequels, a remake, TV show, comic books, video games, stage productions, countless merchandise and launched Bruce Campbell’s career as an action/genre hero as well as changing the face of the genre forever.
Few horror movies have the legacy and cult status of Sam Raimi‘s Evil Dead trilogy.
And after a spiritual remake, and the small-screen adventures of Ash Vs. Evil Dead, it seems the Necronomicon is once again being opened for an all-new Evil Dead movie.

Bates Motel (2013 – Present)
This series which is a contemporary prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho made its triumphant return with Season 3. The story revolves around young Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) still living with his mother Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) at the Bates Motel. Without giving too many spoilers this series gets into a lot more of what we know and love about the Norman character from the films and is a true TV masterpiece. Continue reading
