A third film in the beloved Hocus Pocus franchise starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker as a trio of Salem witches is currently in the works, according to a New York Times interview with Sean Bailey, President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production.

and they join Ginger Minj, who EW previously confirmed will appear as a drag version of Bette Midler’s Winifred Sanderson in the Disney+ sequel.

MGM is bringing back The Addams Family for an upcoming sequel to 2019’s animated film, which is scheduled to be released on the big screen this Halloween, October 1, 2021. In a change to the release plans it will also be made available for at-home rental in the U.S. and Canada on the same day it opens in theaters.
