BBC Re-Release Doctor Who The Collection Season 12

BBC Worldwide has announced that Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 12 will be re-released on Blu-Ray.

For fans of Doctor Who and collectors of Classic Who seasons, the Blu-Ray has limited edition packaging with artwork by Lee Binding and has been restored and up-scaled to HD by Peter Crocker and Mark Ayres.

Since 1989’s Survival there has always been a question of what exactly happened to Ace? She obviously didn’t appear in the TV Movie, and the expanded universe has had several explanations for what fate she underwent, ranging from death, to becoming Time’s Vigilante in Paris, and even entering the Academy on Gallifrey. Sacha Dhawan talks about becoming ‘The Master’ on Doctor Who

Doctor Who made its triumphant return to our screens on New Years Day with Series 12, Episode 1 ‘Spyfall‘ guest starring Stephen Fry and Lenny Henry.

However, there was one big reveal on the episode that has fans talking; when the character of ‘O’ played by Sacha Dhawan was revealed to be classic Doctor Who villian ‘The Master’. The Master had not been seen since the face-off between his female incarnation ‘Missy’ and a previous incarnation (played by John Simm) during the Series 10 Finale.
