‘The New Mutants’ teaser released and ComicCon@Home panel announced

News has dropped today that 20th Century X-Men film ‘The New Mutants‘ will have a ComicCon&Home panel, on Thursday, July 23rd at 2PM PT featuring starts Anya Taylor Joy, Maise Williams, Henry Zaga , Blu Hunt, Charlie Heaton and director Josh Boone. The panel is moderated by Ira Madison. They have also released a brand new trailer for the film:

‘Labyrinth’ sequel coming from ‘Doctor Strange’ director.

Labyrinth is a 1986 musical fantasy film directed by Jim Henson, with George Lucas as executive producer, based upon conceptual designs by Brian Froud. It revolves around 16-year-old Sarah’s (Jennifer Connelly) quest to reach the center of an enormous otherworldly maze to rescue her infant brother Toby, whom Sarah wished away to Jareth the Goblin King (David Bowie).Most of the film’s significant characters, apart from Bowie and Connelly, are played by puppets produced by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. The New Mutants set for August Release Date

The New Mutants is the last of the X-Men movies to be produced by 20th Century Fox to be released, following 2019’s Dark Phoenix. Disney’s purchase of Fox means that the X-Men characters are now able to be used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and those characters may be recast or disregarded entirely in future movies featuring the X-men. Since the acquisition it has been unclear what this would mean for the unreleased ‘The New Mutants’; directed by Josh Boone (The Fault In Our Stars); which had already faced numerous difficulties on it’s road to release.
