‘Scream’ getting 4K BluRay release

Wes Craven’s modern classic 1996 slasher hit ‘Scream’ is being released on 4K UHD BluRay from Paramount.

Neve Campbell leads an all-star cast in this iconic slasher thriller that launched a franchise and breathed new life into the horror genre. After a series of mysterious deaths befalls their small town, an offbeat group of friends led by Sidney Prescott (Campbell) become the target of a masked killer. As the body count rises, Sidney and her friends turn to the “rules” of horror films to help navigate the real-life terror they’re living in. Also starring Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, Rose McGowan and Drew Barrymore, buckle up for an irresistible killer ride!

Scream, which led to three sequels and TV series is set for an upcoming big-screen reboot from Spyglass Media which will see the return of Neve Campbell reprising her role as Sidney Prescott, David Arquette, reprising his role as Dewey Riley and Marley Shelton reprising the role of Deputy Judy Hicks that she first played in Wes Craven’s Scream 4.

Details of this release are still TBC, however it will be released October 21st 2021
