Trailer released for Amazon’s ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ TV series

We now have our first trailer at Amazon Studios YA horror series I Know What You Did Last Summer, a modern take on the hit 1997 slasher film in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television.

The first four episodes will be released on October 15th, with new episodes available each subsequent Friday. The series will culminate in a suspenseful, can’t-miss season finale on November 12, 2021. Check out some of the first images from the eight-episode Amazon Original series that hails from producer James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring, Malignant). The cast includes Madison Iseman (Annabelle Comes Home, Jumanji: The Next Level), Brianne Tju (Light as a Feather), Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), Sebastian Amoruso (Solve), Fiona Rene (Stumptown), Cassie Beck (Connecting), Brooke Bloom (Homecoming), Sonya Balmores (“Inhumans”), Bill Heck (I’m Your Woman) and Crissi Fit (Pitch Perfect).

“One year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, a group of teenagers find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer. As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town—and themselves. Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly. “

Craig Macneill (The Boy, “Channel Zero: Candle Cove,” Lizzie, “Castle Rock,” “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” “NOS4A2”) directs the show’s pilot episode.
