‘Do The Right Thing’ getting special 4K BluRay release
Universal Pictures are bringing a new release of seminal Spike Lee film ‘Do The Right Thing‘ on Digital, BluRay and for the first time in 4K Ultra HD. Do the Right Thing has become a critically acclaimed, seminal Black film that has deeply impacted the cultural discourse over the last three decades. Taking place over the course of a single, sweltering day in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood in Brooklyn, Do the Right Thing follows Mookie (Lee), a young pizza delivery man who butts heads with Sal (Danny Aiello), the owner of the pizza shop where he works. As the temperature rises over the day, so do the tempers of Sal, Mookie, and other members of the neighbourhood as issues around race and class become topics of discussion. Lee’s flawless script and Aiello’s searing performance earned Do the Right Thing two Oscar nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor, respectively, at the 1990 Academy Awards.
‘The Legend of Halloween’ book released
The Legend Of Halloween is a new illustrated book written by Halloween (2018) & Halloween Kills (2021) writer/director David Gordon Green and children’s author Onur Tukel and is described as “the perfect treat for Halloween fans of (almost) all ages”. As you would expect the book is based the charecter of Michael Myers as created in the motion picture screenplay ‘Halloween’ written by John Carpenter and Debra Hill.
Live-action ‘Harry Potter’ series in development.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max/Warner Bros are in early development on a possible live-action TV series set in the world of Harry Potter.

Godzilla Vs. Kong trailer released
Warner Bros have released the trailer for the much anticipated monster match-up Godzilla Vs. Kong which will be coming to theaters and HBO MAX on the same date as part of the studios new dual-release model. The film is due to be released earlier that previously expected; on March 26th 2021.
‘No Time To Die’ release delayed further
Following many rumours that it would be delayed again, the release of upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die has been pushed back; and will now be released 8th October 2021.
‘The Babadook’ getting 4K UHD BluRay release
Second Sight Films have revealed they will be releasing creepy horror hit ‘The Babadook‘ on 4K UHD BluRay for the first time. No details have yet been confirmed but based on the companies past releases we can expect this to be jam-packed with bonus features. We will keep you updated on this release!
Matt Damon may be joining Thor: Love And Thunder cast.
According to reports from the Australian press, Matt Damon has arrived in Australia with his family to start an isolation period ahead of a filming a role in Thor: Love And Thunder; which is currently filming in the country with stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.
Urban Legend trilogy getting special edition Blu-Ray release
Urban Legend is a 1998 slasher film directed by Jamie Blanks, written by Silvio Horta, and starring Jared Leto, Alicia Witt, Rebecca Gayheart, and Tara Reid, and is the first installment in the Urban Legend trilogy.
Its plot focuses on a series of murders on the campus of a private New England university, all of which appear to be modeled after popular urban legends. In addition to its younger cast, the film features supporting performances from Robert Englund, Loretta Devine, John Neville, and Brad Dourif.
The series of three films is now getting a new limited edition Blu-Ray release from 88 Films – In the UK for the first time, completely uncut.

When Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula was published in 1879 and made vampirism a thing, there are a massive number of literary and visual works that has referenced these infected, mutated and cursed beings. This presence of the undead has permeated in many films throughout cinematic history with the romantic, to the menacing, to the lurid, to the comedic. With ‘Ten Minutes to Midnight’, Mainframe Pictures with Jinga Films and 1091 Pictures give us a gritty, lurid, but fun vision of how a single event can cause catastrophic consequences.
