Disney Release Calendar Shakeup Continues

With coronavirus cases surging in the U.S. and new hotspots breaking out around the globe, Disney announced major changes to the studio’s release calendar.

Disney has pulled Mulan from the studio’s release calendar and has also delayed their upcoming Star Wars movies and Avatar sequels.

‘The New Mutants’ release opening of the film during ComicCon@Home

Bill and Ted coming to cinemas/VOD in September and new trailer released!

We recently brought you the news that Bill & Ted Face The Music’  would be released later than planned, on 27th August 2020 (originally slated for August 21, 2020). Well now it has been confirmed the release will move AGAIN and it will now be coming to select Theaters And VOD the same day – 1st September 2020. A new trailer and poster have been released.

‘The Strangers’ getting new limited-edition Blu-Ray release in the UK

The Strangers is a 2008 American psychological horror film written and directed by Bryan Bertino. The plot follows Kristen (Liv Tyler) and James (Scott Speedman) whose stay at a vacation home is disrupted by three masked criminals who infiltrate the home. The screenplay was inspired by two real-life events: the Manson family Tate murders, a multiple homicide, as well as a series of break-ins that occurred in Bertino’s neighbourhood as a child. Some journalists noted similarities between the film and the Keddie cabin murders that occurred in Keddie, California in 1981, though Bertino did not cite this as a reference. This modern horror favourite is getting a new limited-edition BluRay release in the UK from Second Sight Films.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It release moved to 2021

The latest instalment in the Conjuring franchise, ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’  is was due for release on September 11th 2020; however due to the constant release re-shuffle due to Covid19 the films release have now been pushed back to by. June 4th 2021 by New Line & Warner Bros. Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster ‘Tenet’ which was scheduled for release in August this year has also been delayed indefinitely.

Don Mancini’s Chucky TV Series Coming 2021 – Teaser Released

The Child’s Play franchise is headed to the small screen with the upcoming Chucky series. Today we learnt some fresh details on the upcoming project.

Franchise creator Don Mancini will be writing and executive producing the series with David Kirschner and Nick Antosca. Mancini has promised a “fresh take on the franchise” with a series that’ll “explore Chucky’s character with a depth that is uniquely afforded by the television series format.”
