The New Mutants is the last of the X-Men movies to be produced by 20th Century Fox to be released, following 2019’s Dark Phoenix. Disney’s purchase of Fox means that the X-Men characters are now able to be used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and those characters may be recast or disregarded entirely in future movies featuring the X-men. Since the acquisition it has been unclear what this would mean for the unreleased ‘The New Mutants’; directed by Josh Boone (The Fault In Our Stars); which had already faced numerous difficulties on it’s road to release.

Paramount ‘Friday the 13th’ 40th Anniversary Steelbook Delayed
As previously reported Paramount is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Friday the 13th this year with a re-release in the form of a Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray + Digital, which had originally been set for release on May 5th, 2020.
Unfortunately the release has just been slightly extended over a month to June 16th, 2020.

German actor Dieter Laser, who played the evil Dr. Heiter in Tom Six’s The Human Centipede and subsequently returned to play new character Bill Boss in The Human Centipede III has passed away.
