John Lithgow returning for ‘Dexter’ revival

According to Entertainment Weekly John Lithgow is set to make an appearance in the Dexter revival coming from Showtime this fall.

Awarded his fifth Emmy for the role as the  “Trinity Killer” in the fourth season of the killer series’ original run, Lithgow’s character was soundly bumped off by Dexter Morgan himself in season-finale episode “The Getaway” back in late 2009.

Olly Alexander Doctor Who speculation officially denied by his management

Olly Alexander, frontman of the band Years & Years (now continuing as Alexander’s solo project) and star of the recent hit series It’s A Sin has reportedly been in talks to take on the iconic role of The Doctor in BBC’s Doctor Who once Jodie Whittaker (who took up the role as the first-ever female Doctor in 2017) steps down from the role (which has been rumoured to be at the end of the upcoming season).

This rumour has been officially denied by Alexander’s manager via Instagram.

Jackson White is in final negotiations to star as Jud Crandall in Paramount Players’ follow-up adaptation of the successful 2019 Pet Sematary, based on Stephen King’s book.
