Universal is moving a group of Blumhouse titles deeper into the theatrical release calendar including Halloween Kills and its sequel Halloween Ends, MGM/Monkeypaw’s Candyman and the upcoming Purge 5.
Latest Candyman Movie Delayed Due To Coronavirus AGAIN
Universal Pictures was set to bring a horror icon back to life on June 12, 2020 with the release Candyman. This upcoming release got pushed back to September 25, 2020 due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
This installment will be a direct sequel to the original 1992 film and has been described as a spiritual sequel.
Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic that’s forced cinemas across the world to shut down, Universal will no longer be releasing Candyman on that date.
Halloween Kills Release Delayed And Teaser Released

Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure coming to 4K
Ahead of the latest installment Bill & Ted Face The Music – it has been announced that previous installment Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is being released on 4K BluRay for the first time. A new poster by artist Carlos Dattoli has been created especially for the 4K release. There will also be a limited re-release in cinemas and Drive-ins.

Scooby-Doo and the gang take part in their first Halloween movie mystery in Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!, a brand new animated feature that’s headed to home video this fall.
Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo! features the familiar voice talents of Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo/Fred Jones, Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers and Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley. The film also stars Cassandra Peterson as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and Bill Nye cameoing as himself. There’s also a crossover with with world of Batman as Jonathan Crane (aka Scarecrow) (Dwight Schultz), a recent escapee from Arkham Asylum appears! The trailer was released today:
