British actor Ian Holm (Lord of the Rings, Alien) has passed away
We are sad to report that British stage & screen actor Ian Holm has died in London aged 88, his agent confirmed to the Guardian. He has many well-known roles in Film & TV including Ash in Alien, Father Vito Cornelius in The Fifth Element, Chef Skinner in Ratatouille, and Bilbo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film series.
Justice League ‘Snyder Cut’ teaser released
Zack Snyder confirmed, at the end of an online screening of Man of Steel, that his ‘Snyder Cut’ version of Justice League was indeed real. And that it will be coming exclusively to HBO Max, the new WarnerMedia digital streaming service launching May 27, and is expected to debut in 2021. Variety has reported that Disney plans to release the remastered 4K edition of ‘Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back‘ in UK cinemas to help celebrate the films 40th anniversary and also to bolster ticket sales as cinemas re-open their doors for the first time this July after being closed since March by the UK government lockdown due to Covid-19.

Following Fox’s massive success with The Masked Singer and the ongoing spread of the coronavirus, executive producer Craig Plestis is now bringing South Korea’s remotely-made Celebrity Show-Off to the U.S., which is set to air on TBS. Hosted by Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory), each Celebrity Show-Off episode will feature five stars creating online content that must attract the highest number of views. Every week, the contestant who produces the content with the lowest viewership and engagement will be replaced by another celebrity.
