From director Paul Hyett and writer Dan Schaffer comes the new psychological thriller/horror ‘Peripheral‘. The film has it’s UK premiere today (November 3rd) as part of the FrightFest halloween all-dayer and stars Hannah Arterton, Elliot James Langridge, Rosie Day & Jenny Seagrove.

We were lucky enough to get a sneak peak at the filming for Doctor Who Series 11, Episode 4 ‘Arachnids In The UK‘ when it filmed at Celtic Manor Resort; a large hotel complex in Newport, South Wales that served as the fictional ‘Robertson resort’ (set in Sheffield) and several other locations seen in the episode.

Following the previous main range story Red Planets, I was looking forward to The Dispossessed; I’ve found myself enjoying the TARDIS team of the Doctor, Mel and Ace a lot more than I expected. Don’t get me wrong, I think great strides have been made with Bonnie Langford’s character on audio. And, perhaps most importantly, I was 13 when the Seventh Doctor and Ace were on TV. Like Ringo’s drums, they loom large in my legend. But there is a subtle chemistry between the two actors, only briefed tapped in their one joint TV story, that bubbles away nicely.
