Kevin Smith sequel ‘Clerks III‘ is getting 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray limited edition Steelbook release from Best Buy in the US. The release marks the director’s first film to be released on 4K UHD BluRay. The regular BluRay and DVD versions are also available to order.
From writer, director and star Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Reboot); Clerks III reunites Brian O’Halloran (Clerks franchise), Jeff Anderson (Clerks franchise), Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats), Trevor Fehrman (Clerks II) and Rosario Dawson (Death Proof, Sin City, Ahsoka) for another installment, and this time they are back at the Quick Stop in New Jersey – the setting of Smith’s 1994 debut Clerks.
The new Kevin Smith film ‘Clerks III‘ will be getting VOD rental release on October 14th. Followed by a BluRay, DVD & VOD Buy To Own release on December 6th.

Smith has ofcourse written the screenplay and directed, with all major cast members reprising their roles including Jeff Anderson as Randal, Brian O’Halloran as Dante, Jay Mewes as Jay, Smith as Silent Bob, and Rosario Dawson as Becky. Film-maker, podcaster & comic writer Kevin Smith is getting his own comic book imprint from Dark Horse. The line will be called Kevin Smith’s Secret Stash Press, named after his New Jersey comic shop.
Vanity Fair has shared the first official image for the set of Clerks III, which is currently in production in Leonardo, New Jersey; the same town where the original film was made in 1993. Lionsgate has acquired worldwide rights.

Insight Editions have released details of a new film ‘coffee table’ book titled ‘Kevin Smith’s Secret Stash: The Definitive Visual History‘ which will of-course explore the life and career of film-maker Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back). The book features a foreword from Smith’s longtime friend and co-star Jason Mewes as well as testmonials/writing from Smith’s longtime producer Scott Mosier; director J.J. Abrams; actors Ben Affleck, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen and Justin Long; and Smith’s wife Jennifer Schwalbach-Smith and daughter Harley Quinn Smith, among others.
