We last spoke to ‘Clerks’ actor Scott Schiaffo in 2014 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the film. We caught up with him again recently following the release of sequel Clerks 3 in which he reprises his role from the original film as the Chewlies Gum Rep.

Netflix have given us our first look at the sequel to 2019’s Knives Out starring Daniel Craig. “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” which will release on Netflix December 23rd, as well as released in select theaters on a to be announced date. Vanity Fair reports that the ‘Darth Vader’ voice actor James Earl Jones has retired from voicing the iconic Star Wars charecter and has signed over the rights to his voice for film-makers to use new AI, technology for future films and shows.
From writer, director and star Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Reboot); Clerks III reunites Brian O’Halloran (Clerks franchise), Jeff Anderson (Clerks franchise), Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats), Trevor Fehrman (Clerks II) and Rosario Dawson (Death Proof, Sin City, Ahsoka) for another installment, and this time they are back at the Quick Stop in New Jersey – the setting of Smith’s 1994 debut Clerks.

Eddie Murphy is reuniting with his original “Beverly Hills Cop” co-stars — Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot — for the upcoming sequel ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley’
Netflix picked up the rights in 2019 to release the next “Beverly Hills Cop” movie, which is currently in development.
‘Axel Foley’ is the fourth installment in the hit action-comedy franchise, following 1984’s “Beverly Hills Cop,” 1987’s “Beverly Hills Cop II” and 1994’s “Beverly Hills Cop III.” For the fourquel, producers opted to ditch the roman numerals and instead name the film after Murphy’s fish-out-of-water character, a Detroit police officer who travels to Los Angeles to investigate crimes.
In the original film, Reinhold and Ashton played Detective Billy Rosewood and Sergeant John Taggart, who were hired to track Axel Foley as he attempted to solve the murder of his best friend. Reiser played Detective Jeffrey Friedman and Pinchot was the fan-favorite Serge. Reinhold appeared in each subsequent “Beverly Hills Cop” adventure, though Ashton, Reiser and Pinchot returned for only two of the three.
As previously reported, Taylour Paige (“Zola”) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have been cast in “Axel Foley” in undisclosed roles.
The first three “Beverly Hills Cop” installments were box office hits, earning more than $700 million globally and solidifying Murphy’s presence as a movie star. A fourth movie has been in the works for decades, with filmmakers Brett Ratner and the duo of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah each attached at one point to direct. In early 2022, Mark Molloy was hired to helm the film, in his feature debut, from a script by Will Beall (“Aquaman”).
Murphy is producing the movie with Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman for Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Charisse Hewitt-Webster and Ray Angelic will serve as executive producers, while Melissa Reid will co-produce for Jerry Bruckheimer Films.
The new Kevin Smith film ‘Clerks III‘ will be getting VOD rental release on October 14th. Followed by a BluRay, DVD & VOD Buy To Own release on December 6th.
