Trailer released for ‘Paranormal Activity – Next of Kin
Paramount and Blumhouse’s upcoming new installment in the Paranormal Activity franchise will be going straight to Paramount+, with Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) writing the script and William Eubank (Underwater) directing. It’s titled Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin, and we’ve learned today that it’s coming to Paramount+ on October 29th!
‘Batman – Year One’ gets special edition 4K BluRay release
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment celebrates the 10th anniversary of the DC Animation release Batman: Year One with a fully-remastered version of the film and a newly-created bonus feature, Reinventing Gordon. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the PG-13 rated film arrives on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Digital starting November 9, 2021.
Review: Everybody’s Talking About Jamie – coming to Amazon Prime September 17th
Inspired by true events (based on BBC Three‘s 2011 documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16), Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is the film adaptation of the award-winning hit West-End musical about Jamie New (Max Harwood), a teenager in a working class English town with a dream of life on stage.
While his classmates plan their livelihoods after graduation, Jamie contemplates revealing his secret career ambition as a fierce and proud drag queen. His best friend Pritti (Lauren Patel) and his loving mum (Sarah Lancashire) shower him with endless support while local drag legend Miss Loco Chanelle (Richard E. Grant) mentors him toward his debut stage performance. But it’s not all rainbows for Jamie as his unsupportive dad (Ralph Ineson), an uninspired career advisor (Sharon Horgan), and some ignorant school kids attempt to rain on his sensational aspirations. In rousing and colourful musical numbers, Jamie and his community inspire one another to be more accepting, and to see the value in facing adversity and stepping out of the darkness into the spotlight.

The Matrix: Resurrections has released it’s first trailer following the Red & Blue Pill teasers earlier this week. The film is coming to theaters and HBO Max on the same day – 22nd December 2021.

David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills is finally releasing in theaters on October 15th following it’s debut at Venice Film Festival and we recently learned that the film’s official soundtrack from horror master John Carpenter will release on the same date.

MGM is bringing back The Addams Family for an upcoming sequel to 2019’s animated film, which is scheduled to be released on the big screen this Halloween, October 1, 2021. In a change to the release plans it will also be made available for at-home rental in the U.S. and Canada on the same day it opens in theaters.
