Review: Why Don’t You Just Die! – out April 20th

‘Why Don’t You Just Die!’ is a violent, dark new thriller from writer/director Kirill Sokolov and is being distributed by cult label Arrow Films. The film has English subtitles.

Matvey (Alexander Kuznetsov) has just one objective: to gain entry to his girlfriend’s parents’ apartment and kill her father Andrey (Vitaliy Khaev) with a hammer to restore her honour. But all is not as it initially seems, and Matvey’s attempts to bludgeon the family patriarch to death don’t quite go to plan as Andrey proves a more formidable – not to mention ruthless – opponent than he anticipated… and Matvey, for his part, proves stubbornly unwilling to die.

Kevin Smith’s Mooby’s Restaurant Menu Announced

‘Mooby the Golden Calf’ is a fictional children’s television character created by writer/director Kevin Smith which is the figurehead of a fictional fast food chain that is featured throughout the View Askewniverse, most notably in the films Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks II and more recently appeared again in 2019’s Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.

Fans have long discussed the idea of Moobys becoming a real life restaurant – and last night during a live YouTube Q+A Smith confirmed that they would be opening a pop up in LA 4.19-4.25 (previously 4.20-4.25). Due to the Covid19 outbreak this will initially be a delivery only service via PostMates in the local LA area but they hope to open doors to the public later this year.

Today Smith has provided more information on the upcoming opening and the menu.

Rocky Horror Star Releases Statement Regarding Drag Race Snatch Game Performance
