GeekedFest convention returns to Newport for 2016!

GeekedFest Ltd has announced that the ‘GeekedFest’ event will be returning to Newport for the second year running on 6th & 7th August at the Newport Centre.

poster1‘GeekedFest’ is Newport’s own Film/TV & comic book convention and visitors can expect celebrity guests from the world of Film, TV & beyond who will be offering autographs and photo opportunities. There will also be many stalls selling all variety of comic books, memorabilia, toys & crafts as well as many Film/TV exhibits, gaming & cosplay zones and family-friendly activities. GeekedFest 2015 – Report, Photos, Videos.

GeekedFest is a brand new Film & Comic convention in it’s first year which was held at the Newport Centre, South Wales on August 8th & 9th.GeekedFest

The idea came from some local comic book fans who wanted to see an event in their area and decided to make it happen; headed up by Shane Richard Jordan (owner of the nearby Sin City Comics in Cwmbran) & Chris Muscat.

This was our first ‘con’ as ‘Official Press’ thanks to Showmasters !!!!  This was our third overall convention (having attended CFCC ’13 & LFCC Summer ’14). Held at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena for the third time in a row.
