Wolf Creek is a 2016 Australian drama horror thriller web television series.
It is a spin-off of the movies Wolf Creek and Wolf Creek 2 – and gets its UK television debut tonight (30th August – 10PM) on FOX.
John Jarratt, who portrayed Mick Taylor in the films, reprises his role for the series.

With the latest incarnation of HORROR CHANNEL’S FRIGHTFEST ready to consume and infect on London August 25th through 29th , the DISCOVERY STAGE will showcase a variety of genre features that continue to rule the film festival circuit! A part of that group of selected films and filmmakers is Kansas City madman Patrick Rea! Known for his short film work around the world including PILLOW FIGHT, A HOWL OF A GOOD TIME, COUNTER PARTS as well as the 2013 thriller NAILBITER; Rea will be presenting his latest feature called ENCLOSURE. This tense and supernatural tale of isolation focuses on a married couple and the choices that they must make as their camping trip falls under siege by a variation of what could be called monsters. We grabbed Rea in between film projects to talk about ENCLOSURE, micro filmmaking, connecting casting and of course playing at FRIGHTFEST!
“I think the ‘container’ horror film really gets my creative juices flowing, because we have to really work hard to keep things interesting for the audience. It’s not easy making a film like this, despite not having many locations. It actually becomes way more challenging to find ways to keep the audience engaged while being in primarily one place.”

Forbidden passion and dark, dangerous desires are often central themes in classic Gothic stories which has gone on to form the groundwork of popular Gothic/Horror cinema.
Therefore it doesn’t take much reasoning to discover why many of the LGBT community, who are often taught that their sexuality is wrong and does not fit society’s view – connect to gothic cinema often on an emotional level; relating and sympathising with the ‘monster’ who has been shunned from society. Blended with a twisted sense of justice and a wicked narrative style that makes you change your stance on who is just and who is scum, comes the cat and mouse thriller short film from filmmaker Sergio Morceillo entitled “You’re Gonna Die Tonight” written by Alvaro Fuentes. Opening with little to no exposition to help the viewer understand a woman (Mónica Aragón) arriving at a home from a long night of wild, naughty and nasty fun. Barely standing, she is a product of lust, boozes and attitude by her own rules. With flashes of a sex/fetish club engulfing her pleasuring activities in the bathtub, her climax is disturbed by cell phone calls from a stranger who has eyes on what she is doing and how her threats are hollow as they pronounce to her “You’re Gonna Die Tonight”. As she emerges from the bathroom, the game intensifies with the killer who has entered her house and now is on the hunt for her. With each moment that goes by, the woman must defend her life and also understand the nature of the killer and his motive on why she has been targeted. We spoke with actress Naomi Grossman; known for playing the iconic character of Pepper who appeared in the second series ‘Asylum’ before later reprising the role for the fourth series ‘Freak Show’.

The true reflections of the choices we make, the pleasures we are a part of and the terror of what the consequences may be with “Ceramic Tango” or the power of demons we carry and the aspects of life that we loose and have to cope with till end with “Serpent’s Lullaby”.

The 35 time film and television award winning creator continues to make a difference with film, art and the power to invoke. This was no different with the twisted and dark humour tale of justice, frights and irony in “A Tricky Treat”. Conceived originally as a segment of the 2015 “Blood Donation” PSA for the “Women in Horror” Movement, the tale originally called “Ripe N’ Bloody”, the short film packs a twisted message but overall it is three minutes of pure Halloween fun! We spoke to filmmakers Turner Stewart and Dionne Copeland about their first feature //CYBERPUNKZZ//!
“//CYBERPUNKZZ//” is a brave feature from a very talented group of filmmakers. After working on more than five short films including some very powerful and visual projects like “Computer Hearts” and “S.I.D.S.”, this seems like the natural progression. What made “//CYBERPUNKZZ//” the right first feature and where did this story idea come from of gangs, the internet, and freedom?
Turner: Making Punkzz as our first feature just makes sense. Actually, Computer Hearts was originally going to be feature-length but we cut it way down into the 20-minute version that everyone knows now, so going into our first feature this year feels like a natural and necessary progression. In a way Punkzz is sort of a conceptual sequel to Computer Hearts, with all the themes and style I explored in that film taken to the next level. I’ve been describing Punkzz as The Warriors meets Altered States, with a story and aesthetic filtered through the techno-body horror style seen in our previous work.
Dionne: Right now Turner and I actually have two feature film scripts that we’re itching to produce, the other one being a feature-length adaption of my recently completed short film, Inferno. The one that gets made first will honestly just come down to whichever one we can get the financing nailed down for.
