We are sad to report that British actress Barbara Shelley has passed away aged 88. She had recently spent time in hospital with Covid-19 and appeared to have recovered, however she seems to have succumbed to related complications.

Interview: David Dastmalchian (Gotham, The Dark Knight, The Flash, Blade Runner 2049)
We were delighted to catch up with actor David Dastmalchian.
David has been most recently seen on our screens in Gotham season 3 as Dwight Pollard and villian Abra Kadabra in CW’s The Flash
He got his big break playing Joker associate Thomas Schiff in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight‘. This has led on to many Film & TV Roles including playing Kurt in Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man‘. More recently he appeared in the revival of Twin Peaks & Blade Runner 2049.

Forbidden passion and dark, dangerous desires are often central themes in classic Gothic stories which has gone on to form the groundwork of popular Gothic/Horror cinema.
Therefore it doesn’t take much reasoning to discover why many of the LGBT community, who are often taught that their sexuality is wrong and does not fit society’s view – connect to gothic cinema often on an emotional level; relating and sympathising with the ‘monster’ who has been shunned from society. Review: The Woman in Black 2 – Angel of Death
The Woman
in Black 2 – Angel of Death is the sequel to the 2012 film The Woman in Black which starred Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps a young lawyer who travels to a remote village where he discovers a vengeful ghost of a scorned woman who is terrorizing the locals.
Directed by Tom Harper and written by Jon Croker and Susan Hill this film takes place 40 years after the events of the previous film.
