‘James Earl Jones’ to retire from voicing Darth Vader
Vanity Fair reports that the ‘Darth Vader’ voice actor James Earl Jones has retired from voicing the iconic Star Wars charecter and has signed over the rights to his voice for film-makers to use new AI, technology for future films and shows.
Disney removes Star Wars spinoff Rogue Squadron from release schedule
Disney has removed Rogue Squadron, the new Star Wars spin-off film from director Patty Jenkins, from its release calendar.
The film, which was scheduled for December 22, 2023, was taken off the studio’s production schedule in 2021, reportedly due to scheduling conflicts with Jenkins.

Star Wars Andor new trailer/release date announced
The new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series Andor has been released. The trailer also announced the September 21 release date of the three-episode premiere. The show was originally due to air on Disney+ August 31st.

A new live-action series ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ is coming to Disney+. The announcement was made at the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA. The series will star Jude Law.
