Saudi Arabia recently banned the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in its theaters due to America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) being shown as gay on-screen; she’s a member of the LGBTQIA+ community in the comics as well.
It has now been confirmed that the film has been banned in another international area.

Filming of Bill Murray’s upcoming movie Being Mortal has been suspended after a complaint was reportedly filed specifically against the 71-year-old actor, alleging “inappropriate behavior.”
It is unknown at this time what Murray’s involvement in the project will be going forward as the investigation remains active. Rob Zombie announced today that Dee Wallace, who previously starred in Halloween, Lords of Salem, and 3 from Hell, is part of the cast of upcoming movie The Munsters!
Zombie writes,
“Dee is the voice of GOOD MORNING TRANSYLVANIA! Transylvania’s 2nd favorite morning show… soon slipping to 3rd if they don’t update their format.”
Dee Wallace is of course a longtime icon in the horror genre, starring in 1980s classics including Cujo, The Howling, Critters and Steven Spielberg’s E.T.
Sheri Moon Zombie and Jeff Daniel Phillips will be playing Lily and Herman Munster in the Rob Zombie-penned film, with the cast also including Richard Brake, Dan Roebuck, Jorge Garcia, Catherine Schell and Cassandra (Elvira) Peterson.
A release date is still to be confirmed.
