Dee Wallace joins cast of Rob Zombie’s ‘The Munsters’
Rob Zombie announced today that Dee Wallace, who previously starred in Halloween, Lords of Salem, and 3 from Hell, is part of the cast of upcoming movie The Munsters!
Zombie writes,
“Dee is the voice of GOOD MORNING TRANSYLVANIA! Transylvania’s 2nd favorite morning show… soon slipping to 3rd if they don’t update their format.”
Dee Wallace is of course a longtime icon in the horror genre, starring in 1980s classics including Cujo, The Howling, Critters and Steven Spielberg’s E.T.
Sheri Moon Zombie and Jeff Daniel Phillips will be playing Lily and Herman Munster in the Rob Zombie-penned film, with the cast also including Richard Brake, Dan Roebuck, Jorge Garcia, Catherine Schell and Cassandra (Elvira) Peterson.
A release date is still to be confirmed.

A new live-action series about Casper the Friendly Ghost is in development at Peacock.
First reported on variety the series will be written and executive produced by Kai Yu Wu, with UCP and DreamWorks Animation set to co-produce.
Review: Swimming With Sharks – new series coming to ROKU Channel
SWIMMING WITH SHARKS is a six-part series that follows LA assistant Lou Simms (Kiernan Shipka) as she starts her internship at Fountain Pictures. While Lou may seem like a naïve Hollywood newcomer, awestruck by the studio’s notorious CEO, Joyce Holt (Diane Kruger), landing this internship was no happy accident. As Lou’s obsession grows, she will do anything to get close to her idol. Donald Sutherland, Thomas Dekker, Finn Jones, Erika Alexander, Ross Butler and Gerardo Celasco round out the cast. The series was created in partnership with Lionsgate Television. It is one of the projects developed for the ill-fated Quibi platform and like most Quibi shows is now being released exclusively on The Roku Channel under the ‘Roku Originals’ Label.

Just over one year ago, in March 2021, the Main Range ended from Big Finish Productions as the box set format took root before being firmly established for 2022. Now, one other long running institution from Big Finish Productions is at an end, the 16 part, four disc set, Eighth Doctor miniseries which has been the format of Eighth Doctor releases for nearly a decade. Dark Eyes, Doom Coalition, Ravenous, and Stranded have all been released to acclaim and here we are with Stranded 4, the final set in this style.
