This week see Don Mancini’s “Chucky” series premiering on SYFY & USA last night and Halloween Kills headed to theaters and Peacock on Friday. Yes, both Chucky and Michael Myers are back in the very same week, and since they’re both Universal properties, well, that means the two can co-exist within the same marketing. Now Universal have allowed the two iconic characters to meet for the first time in a new TV Spot for you may have seen while watching “Chucky” last night.

New ‘Hellraiser’ film moving forward with Spyglass & Hulu, Clive Barker to produce
Spyglass Media Group, LLC and Hulu have partnered on a new re-imagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic, “Hellraiser,”. It was announced today by Peter Oillataguerre, President of Production for Spyglass. 
Horror Channel presents a Classic Horror Halloween weekend on 30-31 October.

BlumFest 2021: Return to Haddonfield – new Halloween Kills featurette released
David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills is finally making its way into cinemas and streaming on Peacock on October 15.
In the same vein of its predecessor, Halloween Kills is set to have many returning characters appear. Charles Cyphers has reprised the role of Sheriff Leigh Brackett one of many fan favourites of the original 1978 Halloween. Some of the other confirmed stars from the first movie set to return are Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers.
During BlumFest a new featurette was released highlighting some of these reunions. As co-writer Danny McBride explains, it was about “finding ways to keep them involved with the story.”

The coronavirus pandemic saw most major in-person events get either cancelled or delayed back in 2020, which resulted in Blumhouse Productions delivering their first virtual BlumFest, a celebration which has returned this year again in virtual form bringing with it “surprises and sneak peeks” of many of their upcoming projects.
