Title Treatment released for Universal’s Renfield, Trailer tomorrow
A title treatment has been released for Universal’s Renfield, an upcoming movie based on the character from the iconic Dracula tale. Nicholas Hoult (The Menu) is starring as Renfield, with Nicolas Cage playing Count Dracula! Renfield comes to theaters on April 14, 2023. A trailer for the film will be released tomorrow (4th Jan 2023).

Original Saw cast member Shawnee Smith is returning in the newest installment of the horror franchise from Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures.
While the studio declined to comment on Smith’s casting, Deadline reported that the tenth Saw film with also featured Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand and Michael Beach.

American actor, director and stuntman James Winburn has died.

Netflix ‘The Watcher’ renewed for second season & ‘Monster’ to become anthology series.
Netflix has ordered Season 2 of “The Watcher” Netflix has also announced it will be turning “Monster” into an anthology series with the streamer ordering two additional seasons of the series. Both shows were created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.
Peacock to produce Friday the 13th prequel series
Peacock has order a Friday the 13th prequel series currently titled Crystal Lake Variety has learned.
Exact plot details are being kept under wraps, although it is described as an “expanded prequel.”
The show will be written by Bryan Fuller, who is also the showrunner and an executive producer. Victor Miller, who penned the original film in the franchise, will also executive produce along with Marc Toberoff, Rob Barsamian, and A24.
