A new live-action series about Casper the Friendly Ghost is in development at Peacock.

First reported on variety the series will be written and executive produced by Kai Yu Wu, with UCP and DreamWorks Animation set to co-produce.

Kim Cattrall has joined the cast of Peacock’s Queer As Folk reboot in a recurring guest star role.

The Golden Globe winner will portray a martini-soaked, high-society Southern debutant with trailer park roots in the series.

Chucky meets Michael Myers in new promo TV spot

This week see Don Mancini’s Chucky series premiering on SYFY & USA last night and Halloween Kills headed to theaters and Peacock on Friday. Ellen Burstyn to reprise her role in new ‘The Exorcist’ trilogy

It had been reported that Ellen Burstyn will also reprise her role in an upcoming reboot of ‘The Exorcist’ from Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Productions, in partnership with Universal and Peacock.; she starred as Chris MacNiel in the original 1973 film. Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton, One Night In Miami) is also set to star.
