Comic book creator Rob Liefeld is auctioning up a piece of Deadpool history. Starting Thursday, Liefeld and Heritage Auctions are offering two drawings that have been locked away in Liefeld’s personal collection for more than 30 years.

Legendary comic book artist George Perez dies aged 67
Legendary comic book artist George Pérez has passed away aged 67. Pérez revealed a cancer diagnosis in December, revealing that he had stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Pérez told fans at the time that he had elected to forego chemotherapy, which he was told had a low chance of success, and instead spend as much quality time as he could with his family, friends, and fans. In the time since he announced his illness, Pérez has been photographed at the DC offices, and scheduled some signing and meet-and-greet events with fans. He helped define the look of DC Comics in the 1980s and drew the pivotal Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event
Kevin Smith gets comic book imprint at Dark Horse
Film-maker, podcaster & comic writer Kevin Smith is getting his own comic book imprint from Dark Horse. The line will be called Kevin Smith’s Secret Stash Press, named after his New Jersey comic shop.
Prequel comic-book for ‘Masters Of The Universe: Revelation’ Netflix series Announced
IGN has today revealed details of a prequel comic book tie-in Masters of the Universe: Revelation; the upcoming Netflix Original anime series created by Smith and based upon the characters of Masters of the Universe in a collaboration between Netflix and Mattel Television. The comic series is being released by indie label Dark Horse Comics.

‘Green Hornet’ animated series coming from Kevin Smith
Writer/director Kevin Smith and kids animation studio WildBrain (Yo Gabba Gabba) are teaming up to develop a family-friendly Green Hornet animated series based on the comic-book hero.

Review: Chasing Leia (2020) – a short film about fandom and addiction.
Chasing Leia is the short film debut from writer/director Henry Wentworth; who also appears in the film. The story follows Billie (Harry Wight); a recovering addict as he battles with his addiction and inner demons with the aid of his group of friends; who are all members of the local comic book/pop culture geek community.

We were delighted to catch up with actor David Dastmalchian.
David has been most recently seen on our screens in Gotham season 3 as Dwight Pollard and villian Abra Kadabra in CW’s The Flash
He got his big break playing Joker associate Thomas Schiff in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight‘. This has led on to many Film & TV Roles including playing Kurt in Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man‘. More recently he appeared in the revival of Twin Peaks & Blade Runner 2049.
